The green way to treat hard water
INSTALLATION OF THE HYDROFLOW HS38
1.- Find the best location:
The best place to install your HS38 electronic water conditioner is on the cold water pipe that feeds the boiler or hot water tank. Make sure that you have a power outlet close by, and that there are no groundwires attached to the pipe in very close proximity.
One more thing to consider is to have a clear view of the HS-38 red light. It will be the indicator that the unit is performing as it should.
2.- Fasten the mounting bracket to the pipe
Use a screwdriver
3.- Mount the top section of the HS38
You will hear a "click" sound when you push it firmly into the bracket to let you know that the body of the HS38 is in place
4.- Attach the lower section of the unit
Holding the top section with one hand, clip the lower section on with the other hand.
5.- Remove the metal pin
It is very important that once the bottom part is in position, you withdraw the split pin from the unit
6.- Power the unit with the power adapter supplied
First plug it into the unit then into any regular power outlet.
